Bradbury School places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, recognising the immense benefits it brings to students’ overall development. The school organises various trips and local excursions such as the HK Wetland Park and the Eco Park that allow students to learn about the local ecology and environment. These experiences are complemented by dedicated camps within Hong Kong, where students can immerse themselves in nature and develop a deeper understanding of their surroundings. Additionally, the school offers an enriching trip for our Year 6 students, providing them with a unique opportunity to explore historical and cultural landmarks, further broadening their educational horizons.
One of the standout extracurricular activities at Bradbury School is the Jungle School, which takes learning beyond the classroom. During Jungle School, students get the chance to learn a range of skills that enhance their understanding of the natural world, such as building structures, learning about wildlife, and exploring various materials. This programme is designed to help our students grow their capacity to instigate, test, and maintain curiosity about the world around them. It promotes their right to play, access the outdoors, and engage with the vibrant reality of the natural world. By experiencing a healthy range of emotions through social interactions and challenges, students build resilience, enabling them to continue and creatively engage with their peers and their potential.
