Huge congratulations to two of our amazing swimmers, Kaitlyn (Y6) and Jayden (Y2), who both made a splash at yesterday's Rising Star Swimming Competition held at West Island School 🏊♀️🏊♂️
🥇 Kaitlyn took home 1st Place in her Freestyle race!
🥈 Jayden claimed 2nd Place in his Freestyle race!

On Wednesday evening parents and teachers gathered in the Shed to discuss the growing dangers and challenges surrounding technology and social connections that our children increasingly face.
This was the first in a series of talks this year which aim to raise knowledge and awareness of these challenging issues that we all face.
A key take away for many parents was the work being done by Look Up Hong Kong
( https://www.lookup.hk/ ) in protecting the mental and physical wellbeing of our children by delaying access to smartphones and social media.

Families could take part in local conservation efforts (like beach cleanups), and share posts, photos, or videos using the hashtag #CallToEarth

A huge congratulations also to Ashlynn T (2M) for representing on the international stage at the Ice Skate Asia 2026 competition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, back in August!
Ashlynn showed incredible resilience during the event—despite battling Flu A during the week of the competition following a packed training schedule, she pushed through and proudly brought home a trophy right before kicking off Year 2! 🌟

It was an incredible, enriching experience for Lenka—building her confidence, broadening her horizons, and cementing a great sense of achievement. Watching and skating alongside talent from all over the world has fueled her passion for the sport even more, and she is already eagerly preparing for her next events on the ice!

Beyond the podium, they showed fantastic patience, embraced the spirit of competition, and learned firsthand the incredible power of teamwork. On top of their relay success, every single swimmer earned individual medals! 🏅
