Have you seen young musicians in action? 🎵 Last week, some of our very talented students from Bradbury School performed for around 90 K1 Hillside students and their teachers. They were courageous, inspiring, and full of enthusiasm! ✨ Watch the video below for highlights from the show — which performances warmed your heart? 💬🎶
What a proud moment! 🌟 Year 2 student Ridley earned a Top 10 spot in the Macmillan "CREATE YOUR OWN ENDING" writing competition for her imaginative alternative ending to Alice in Wonderland. 🎩📚👏
Watch her video to hear Ridley’s creative twist on the classic — you’ll be so impressed by her storytelling! 🎥✨

Fabulous Bradbury students performing for our Hillside friends in a concert this afternoon 😊👍🏼
We are proud to share the Bradbury community raised $1659.40 for Redress HK in the recent dress casual day. This money will go towards Redress HKs recycling and education efforts across HK. We thank all families who donated money for this great cause.
1st campfire of the term, marshmallows and a common wolf snake visitor (not dangerous, don't worry... unless you're a gecko!)
Year 4 students were cooking up a storm in the Shed yesterday.
PYP Learner Profile (LP): Balanced
Balanced learners strive to achieve a healthy balance between different aspects of life—intellectual, physical, social, and emotional. They understand the importance of making thoughtful choices, caring for their well-being, and managing time and energy so they can do their best in school and beyond.
What can parents can do to support this LP at home.
- Model healthy routines: sleep, meals, and screen-time boundaries. - Encourage movement and play: short daily activities (walks, sports, stretching, dancing). - Support “work and rest” balance: plan time for schoolwork, hobbies, and relaxation. - Teach self-management: use simple routines (checklists, timers, “first–then” thinking). - Promote emotional well-being: talk about feelings, practice calming strategies (breathing, journaling, quiet time). - Encourage reflection: ask questions like “What helped you today?” or “How did you keep a good balance?” - Value different strengths: praise effort, choices, kindness, and perseverance—not just grades/marks.
Never mess around in The Shed unattended. You never know what will happen!
Our Animation Team are coming up with great story ideas this week.
Year 2 students have begun exploring the properties of materials through a series of exciting hands-on investigations. They have conducted experiments to test waterproofing, strength, soundproofing, and transparency, discovering how different materials behave and which are best suited for various purposes. #handsonlearning
Jungle School passed all it's safety requirements and so Y5 were released back into the wild last night.
