Library
Bradbury School library supports students, staff, and the wider school community in the pursuit of quality information and reading material. Our aim is for all students to enjoy visiting the library. We encourage them to be independent and open-minded when choosing books for pleasure or for study.
Our library is staffed by a librarian and a library assistant. The librarian supports teachers in the implementation of skills and concepts linked to the Units of Inquiry. The library assistant coordinates the borrowing of books and works with the librarian in the general running of the library.
Library opening hours are 8.00 am – 2:40 pm from Monday to Friday. Students are able to access the library and borrow books with their classes in scheduled class library time each week. Students are able to visit the library during break times to read and change books.
There are a number of different resources arranged in the library to cater to the different age groups we have in the school. These include print, audio, and electronic library resources. More details about the library can be found in the Bradbury School Library Policy.
